An avid athlete and sports person himself during his school and college days, along with his interest in Sports and Sports injuries, motivated Dr Vishnu Unnithan to become a Sports Injury Specialist with a keen interest in Arthroscopy, Shoulder-Elbow and Knee.

He had his educational training at premier Medical Institutes in India and Abroad (Australia) with vast experience in the field of Arthroscopy and Sports Injuries especially that of the Knee, Shoulder and Elbow. He has presented multiple research papers in India and Abroad (Canada) and has articles published in International Journals.

As an Orthopedic Sports Injury Surgeon living and practicing in Trivandrum, his goal is to restore function and provide healing and relief to the many thousands of people of all ages who suffer from hip, knee, elbow and shoulder joint pain and disability.

He stays up to date with, and is an integral part of the latest advances in Orthopedic medicine, especially in his field of expertise: knee, elbow and shoulder surgery.
